 1951 Ford Military? Robert E. Thomas, III emailed with this information "...truck with a 51 Ford front end, but with a blocky cab & what looks like a 60's Datsun bed. The cab is from an early 50's Powell. The Powell company took Dodge sedan chassis & put a "basic" pick-up body on the frame. They were sold to sportsmen as inexpensive trucks. One cost-saving measure was to have the windows in the doors slide laterally (vice roll up and down). I had not seen a Powell in 30+ years. |
